Streamer.bot destinations
Stream Pulse does not configure or start Streamer.bot’s servers for you.
WebSocket
Default: ws://127.0.0.1:8080/. Enable Servers/Clients > WebSocket Server
in Streamer.bot.
- Configurable host, port, endpoint, TLS, timeout, and optional password.
- Uses the official
@streamerbot/client, including Hello/challenge authentication. - Waits for the authenticated session, not just socket-open.
- Discovers actions with
GetActionsand invokes them withDoAction. - Each operation opens a bounded session and closes it afterward.
Password authentication is supported only by this destination type.
HTTP
Default: http://127.0.0.1:7474/. Enable Servers/Clients > HTTP Server in
Streamer.bot.
- Configurable host, port, base path, TLS, and timeout.
GET /GetActionsfor discovery.POST /DoActionwith{"action":{"id":"..."},"args":{...}}, or an action name when no GUID is provided. A successful204response has no JSON body.
Streamer.bot’s HTTP server has no CORS setting and sends no CORS headers, so
browsers cannot read its responses directly. The simulator relays HTTP through
its own same-origin server (pnpm dev or pnpm start); see
Local server. The Overwolf app calls the server
directly. Use the WebSocket API if you open the UI any other way.
Action arguments
Actions are picked from the discovered list, or entered by ID or name. Arguments are JSON and support templates.
