Custom REST source
Other tools on the same machine send events by HTTP POST, using the Custom WebSocket message format.
Simulator only. Ingest is served by pnpm dev and pnpm start; the Overwolf
app cannot host an HTTP endpoint.
Tokens
Each source has one or more bearer tokens. Create, copy and revoke them on the source. Tokens are stored locally and never exported.
Sending events
The source card shows the ingest URL and a curl example:
curl -X POST http://127.0.0.1:5173/ingest/<sourceId> \
-H "Authorization: Bearer <token>" -H "Content-Type: application/json" \
-d '{"event":"Hello","data":{"user":"me"}}'

Limits
- Only loopback requests are accepted. Requests from a browser page must come from the same origin.
- Bodies are limited to 64 KB.
- The browser holds a stream to the local server; events are delivered only while the Stream Pulse page is open.
See Local server for how the endpoint works.
